With all the above information you will be top party host/hostess. Just imagine being able to tell your guests how the cheese was actually made or where the wine you are serving comes from. Impressing the guests with the variety of top brand cigars and you might also be able to tell them that you actually brewed the beer yourself.

If you are thinking of throwing a party here are some top hints for you to follow for a successful get together.

  1. Relax, drink a couple of glasses of wine, or do whatever relaxes you. If you are uptight, your guests will feel it and it will have an adverse effect on the party atmosphere.
  2. Arrange the furniture so that everyone is within comfortable talking distance. This will help conversation to flow freely.
  3. If you're providing alcohol, serve plenty of food;
  4. Serve water, soft and low alcohol drinks;
  5. Consider providing taxis for your guests;
  6. When sending out invitations, remind your guests to leave their cars at home if they are going to drink.
  7. Avoid topping up alcoholic drinks.
  8. Let people pour their own drinks so they can control how much they are drinking.

Remember as the host, when alcohol is consumed you have rights and obligations to help ensure the safety and comfort of your guests.
